Description:

The Atlantic Council of Canada is an independent, non-profit NGO focusing on global peace and security and defence issues through transatlantic Cooperation and Canada's role in NATO. The overall goal of this internship project is to help young Canadians between the ages of 18 and 30 move successfully from their university/college education to productive work in the field of international affairs and international trade.
It also seeks to help Canadian youth move from part-time or underemployment to rewarding careers with an international focus. Besides enhancing the research, public relations, management, planning and organizational skills of young professionals, the project also provides excellent contacts with governments, business communities and academic institutions in NATO and Partnership for Peace Countries. |
